I have a 2015 ram 3500 with a 6.7 Cummins that had a non VGT turbo when I bought it. Recently I put a new ATS aurora with a vgt and converted it all back. Everything works as it should but I do notice a noise from the actuator when shutting down like it’s switching on and off. Anyone seen or heard this? Is this an issue? Solutions? Thanks in advance! (I have a video but don’t know how to attach it)

I’m not sure exactly what your hearing but my truck also sounds like the turbo actuator clicks a few times right after the truck shuts off.

They can sound loud when nothing else is running. If it's actuating properly I wouldn't worry about it.

Normal, the actuator will do a "sweep" at shutdown, that might be what you are hearing. There are lot of other things that reset or align during shutdown/startup so you might here other noises.

A good rule of thumb, unless it throws a check engine light it's fine, these trucks are very good at letting you know when something is wrong.
