1998.5 2500, Can I put Fog lights on their own switch? They come on with parking and low beam at the moment.

Hi, Right now the fog lights come on as soon as parking lights are turned on Position 1, they will stay on when the low beams are turned on but turn off when the High beams are turned on. Am I able to separate them so i can control when they come on? I believe they are factory set up.

You can have the in the off position where they don't come on with the parking or low beams. If you do want to have them on with the high beams, I think you can use a "Brite Box" from Geno's Garage. Or, completely rewire the fog lights to a separate switch.

Check local laws, certain states require them to be only come on with parking and low beams.

I don't need them on with Hi's, I want to be able to control if I want them on with Parking or low's.
