2017/18 grille on a 2012

Hey folks new here so I'm not sure if any one has posted about this before, I've looked and not been able to find anything on this topic. But im interested in swapping out the chrome 2012 grille with the basic ram head emblem on my 2500 for the newer black "ram" grille, I've seen on power wagons, any help is appreciated.

99% sure on 2500 and 3500 the front does not change from 09 to 18. So you should be good if its a 2500 grill. The 1500's changed in 13 to rounded corners along the bottom.

Thanka i appreciate it. I figured as much but i didnt wanna go out and buy something ans it not fit properly.

The size and shape are the same but I think the fastening points changed between 2012-2013.
