Hello I'm new to group. I have a question for people that have owned atleast 2 Rams. I had a 2018 and now 2022 Bighorn both vehicles pretty well identical. My 2018 seemed to be a bit faster than my 2022, the 22 is fast but it just doesn't feel like the 18. I spoke w the dealer and they said they toned them down to meet BS EPA compliance and I have read same.
Does anyone else notice a difference in the power of your new Rams???

Go over onto High Performance Rams and Tuned Rams on facebook and ask this question. Most guys who are racing the trucks, claim the new 5th Gens are actually turning in better 1/4 mile times on the dragstrip, then their older 4th Gens did.
Alot of that i think could be because of the differances in transmission ratio's between the 4th Gens 8HP70 and the 5th Gens 8HP75,and a lighter 5th Gen truck

My 2022 Hemi eTorque is about the same as the 2020 classic warlock I drove…

Throttle response is super lazy on the ‘22 vs ‘17 I had, so it feels slower in every day driving for sure. Some have said pedal commander is nice. It’s a truck. It’s slow. I didn’t buy it for its drag racing prowess so that’s fine. Interior is a lot nicer. Payload higher, at least between my two. I’ll take the 5th gen if both were new sitting side by side with 0 miles. I preferred the MSRP of the ‘17 though!
