Have a 2022 Ram 3500 SRW w/ Cummins 6.7 in it; bought new and just turned 22,000 miles. Took it to tire shop to check alignment and get tires rotated and they said both upper and lower ball joints on both sides are worn to the point they can't align it. We work with this shop often and they have never told me something just to sell parts (we always bring it back and do the work ourselves or have our normal mechanic do it), so I'm believing that when they say the joints are bad.
Is this a common problem with HD rams? I'm not overloading it, some offroad with it (it's a farm truck) but I would not call it severe duty use. Our GM trucks (this is the first Ram on the farm) do not have issues like this at all.
It's going to get warrantied but I didn't know if guys have had to switch to aftermarket parts to solve this problem.
