Hello. I’m brand new here. I currently have a 2011 Tacoma with 218k miles on it. I was hoping the ‘24 Tacoma would have bigger back seats but that didn’t happen. I hate the slanty door on the F150 and absolutely love the look of the RAM.

I plan to purchase a ‘24 Rebel G/T with a bunch of the packages (comfort, technology, advanced safety, Rebel Level 2) and a bunch of add-ons (Class IV hitch, tube running boards, spray bed liner, sunroof).

I was hoping to find the dealers invoice prices and use these as my starting points in negotiations. My thought is that if I can get this for invoice, and then add the current “deals”, I’ll sign on the spot. This is the approach I took with my last 2 trucks and it worked well.

Any advice on how to find the invoice price? I’ve looked everywhere. Thoughts on the trucks configuration? Did I miss something or add something I can easily do myself after the purchase? I look forward to being part of this forum for the next 12 years. Thanks for the help!

Can’t help on the invoice pricing but on options be sure to consider the limited slip rear axle. My dealer stock truck lacked it and it’s the one added option I wish it had.

Your best bet is to contact Mark Dodge in Louisiana and work with them. They are a forum member and have the best pricing in the country from what I have seen.

@Puckstopper55 Welcome to RamForum. I'm including one of our Preferred Vendors here, Anthony from Mark Dodge might be able to help. @AnthonyRI .
Thanks @rule18 ! Appreciate the heads up. @Puckstopper55 I can help you get a truck significantly below invoice, before even touching the current rebates/incentives.
In the state of Louisiana where we are, we are not allowed to ADVERTISE a discount off of invoice, we have to discount off of MSRP - but i can send you a POC (price order confirmation) sheet which shows invoice price for any vehicle on our lot.

Rebates are based on where YOU are, not where the dealer is - so really you want to find whats the best DEALER discount, and then add your rebates on top of that.
Email me at [email protected] I'd be happy to help you find something or order one too - depending on what the most important features are of the truck!

Thank you for the warm welcome. Wow. This looks too good to be true. Has anyone purchased from him?
I have made the trek from SC down to Mark Dodge for one of my trucks and I can tell you it was worth the drive and was a good overall experience for dealing with something like this so far away.

I don't have any personal experience to share about Mark Dodge but I know of a couple guys from over here in Houston that bought from them. My understanding is the sales tax on new vehicles is much lower than Texas.

So due to the fact that Ram decided to stop factory orders of ‘24 models (which is another discussion) @AnthonyRI was unable to help me out. He was very willing but this way beyond his control.

I ended up finding a close match to what I wanted in Ohio and am having it shipped over next week. Any recommendations for sites that sell running boards, bed covers, etc? I’ll search around here and see if we have a vendor list.

Thanks again!

I am also looking for a new RAM 1500 Classic . Found some ok prices around the country. Because if it is a good deal I can fly to wherever and buy it. But when they want close to or more than $1000 in doc fees. They can keep the truck. Doc fees are nothing but a scam on the buyer and I am NOT stupid enough to pay them just because I am buying a truck from them that they are already making 1000's on. If I do not buy one this week I am just gonna keep enjoying mine. Plus I will still have my money.

OP welcome! Times have drastically changed in the auto industry. You no longer have to consider MSRP it’s more like 5k off. Interest rates are still stupid unless you can go 36 months which is why I would recommend waiting as long as you can to buy. I got a good call the other day from a dealer I haven’t been to in over 3 years telling me about their automatic 2k off offer on all trucks on their lot plus dealer incentives. I haven’t heard of this happening in over 10 years. Hang on if you can I promise there will be some 2023’s around in February at a much lower cost than what they are now.

here in the DFW mtero area the dealers are more competitive. I bought my new '19 laramie 1500 msrp 57,750 for 43,000 and some change. I traded it in march for a slightly used '22 laramie ccsb 4x4 6.7 dsl msrp 77,220 for 67,000 and got 37,000 trade in for my '19. while I would have liked to haggle them down a cpl. more thousand on the '22, I was happy with the price they gave me for my '19. I bought the 6.7 because we bought a 5th wheel and needed to change tow vehicles or I would still be driving that '19.

Thank you for the lead on it. But there is no way I am having a Warlock in my driveway. When I looked up it's definition there is no way I am touching a Warlock and I found a SUPER deal on a Warlock. Enough evil in the world as it is without me promoting it.

Got a great deal on a tonneau cover at tonneaucovered.com recently.
Got my cover from them too, I called and talked to JC he is knowledgeable and even provided me a pretty good deal. I refer my friends and family too and I would get like $50 per referral.
