My 2006 hemi Ram 1500. I took a 3000 mile round trip over the extended weekend moving my oldest son from K State to Delaware. A pretty heavy load, as he had twice as much junk as I anticipated. Definitely more than the weight of towing a muscle car. Driving interstate including the Appalachian mountain range I got 12.9 mpg running 71-75 mph where appropriate, using tow haul and OD Off and 2 in the mountains as needed. Never had to drop to 1. I thought this was pretty reasonable. It got 14.6 mpg empty on the way home. Pretty heavy duty trailer running 75-80mph. AC on. Definitely has more power than my old Silverado and handles better. I think I am happy with my new to me Dodge.

Pretty close I’d say. I pull a stripped down z28 occasionally and it’s definitely lighter than last weekend’s load
The Magnum is about 4500lbs and the trailer is listed at 2210lbs, plus our fat asses in the truck lol, so I was real close to 7000lbs. Love my 4.56's lol.

Nice! I do quite a bit of towing with my 08' and the best I've gotten was 13.3 (stock gearing) 7x14 enclosed trailer with about a total of about 5500lbs. I have noticed that when driving 60-65 seems to be the sweet spot for my truck and trailer combo. (out here in the land of fruits and nuts - California, you're only suppose to drive 55 with trailers so going 70+ would be a no-no and a hefty ticket if caught. ;)

Nice, I think that's the first time I've seen 4th gen snowflakes on a 3rd gen

I was expecting Illinois to have that 55 Speed limit for trailers but I was pleasantly surprised that they obviously got rid of that regulation.
