The one on my truck was all faded and more white than black. All of the replacements I could find were made of ABS, which means they'll do the same thing eventually.

I modeled the part in CAD but maded it a millimeter shorter, to accomadate the thickness of a soft TPU gasket.

I printed the base in Prusament Galaxy Black ASA, which should resist UV much better than ABS. The gasket is printed with soft rubberlike TPU.

Great Job. That looks awesome. Mine is fading as well.
Thanks for the STL files. Now I have a reason to buy a spool of TPU...lol

And THIS is one reason I want a 3D printer.... We have 30 at work, but I don't like to tie up those machines.

Edit - American Filament is a great company to buy from. We pretty much use them exclusively and they're here in my city (as I just learned). Their filaments are all stout and very reasonably priced. They also give buyers a $1 credit per spool if you return the empty spools to them for reuse. Probably not worth it if you buy 1-2 rolls at a time, but if you buy in a decent bulk it's a pretty good discount.

Some black krylon textured paint did the job on mine , it still looks good two years later.
