Hey all,

I have the power sliding middle window. I have noticed water in the wells under the seat. I pulled out the seats and headliner and insulation behind the seats. I sprayed water at the outside of the window and found the leak to be coming from the middle window. Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this leak?

Thanks all.

There are lots of posts on this forum about that issue. Do a search and some reading and you should find the answers.

Thanks for your very helpful post. I did search and did not find anything due to possibly using the wrong terns. I have extensive experience using forums thanks. To take the time to respond but not help seems to be a waste of time. Unless you feel better belittling people who ask for help.

No belittling intended - just a statement of fact that there are posts on this forum involving leaking rear power windows on the Ram.

Your original post did not state that you had done a search. Some members do not think to search, or even realize there is a search feature.

Good luck.

Soo…to truly be helpful… Why don’t you post a direct LINK to the threads you believe to be helpful.?

At times I have posted a reply with link(s) to forum posts with helpful information.

I do not have any bookmarked for the leaking rear window, but remember having read some (and also for leaking rear cab vents).

Sometimes I get the feeling some people are too lazy to do a search and some reading, and want others to give them the information. If I have the information at hand (bookmarked post), I will post a link.

Why haven’t you posted any direct links to be helpful?

Its not the brake light gasket nor is it a cracked window frame. It is leaking directly at the center window. The drains are clear. Is the rubber seal on the outside of the sliding window replaceable? I did some searching and some say yes some say no.

You can go to MoparPartsGiant.com website, enter your VIN, and then search for the part(s). It will show what parts are serviced (and applicable to your vehicle) and an illustration for many of the parts.

I have no connection to the site, other than as a consumer.
