2012 ram 1500 write up on how to change the puddle lights and turn signal lights on your mirrors.
Step 1: Turn signal, push the regular mirror corner near the convex blind spot mirror in and down as far as you can do you can fit your hand behind the convex mirror and slowly pull out to pop it off (YouTube can show you videos on how to do this).
Step 2: Pop off the convex mirror and remove screw holding on turn signal light.
Step 3: Disconnect wiring plug and remove turn signal light.
Reverse for installation
***I noticed the smoked Ebay lights that I installed had a very small gap between the light and the mirror, so I put dielectric grease in the connecting to avoid corrosion ***
Also I had to drill out one of the screws because it was rusted in place, so I would recommend replacing the screws and putting some antisieze on the threads.
Puddle lights
Step 1: Take a small flathead screwdriver and insert in the edge farthest from the door panel to carefully pry puddle light out of the mirror
Step 2: Disconnect the 2 connections, paying attention to the size of the connections, one is larger than the other.
Reverse for installation
Overall very easy to change with minimal tools and I'm pleased with having all 4 lights working again, also happy with the smoked lights, hopefully they hold up.
