Gents, my truck didn't come with the cold weather package that included the block heater cord. Truck has been starting angry in 30 degree weather and will only get worse as the winter progresses. I made an install video of the installation process of an OEM Mopar block heater cord.

Just put one on my truck as well. So nice to hop in and see the oil temp around 130 instead of 50 at 0430 when it's in the 30s and raining. I didn't put the fancy socket end on, though. I stayed old school and just left my cord hanging [emoji16]

Exactly. There is damage over some time with cold starts and cold motors and am hoping this will prevent some of that damage. I also hate having to “take it easy” waiting for it to get to 180degrees before I can really stomp on it.
