98 dodge ram 1500 318 5.2L problems

my 1998 dodge ram 1500 won't start and won't jump start. had battery checked, its good. had starter checked , its good. when i try to crank it, it will click one time and thats it. i've checked fuses inside and under hood, all good. any help would be greatly appriciated as i'm at a stand still.

I'm going to throw out a guess, have you checked the alternator? After checking battery and starter that about as far as I go anymore, then off to the local garage, which luckily I have a really good, and honest, one in the town I live in.

yes i've checked alt, its good

remove and clean terminals , remove all the grounds you can follow from the battery and any more you can locate and clean and sand contact areas.

THANK YOU dAW14 i removed and cleaned terminals, cut off the ends of ground wires and restripped wires , hook them back up and it fires right up. THANK YOU SO MUCH
