Hello. Recently purchased a used 2019 1500 Laramie (5G). It has a slightly dented front bumper. Thought it wouldn’t bother me…drives me nuts in reality. So I’ve purchased a IronBison Barde front bumper I got a great deal on. While watching many vids on bumper removal and upgrade, I saw one youtuber specifically make mention of an error code getting thrown when main wiring harness for the factory is detached and not plugged back in before the next engine start. For this new aftermarket bumper, I will NOT be using that harness, so I expect I should see an error code. Has anyone experienced this and, if so, what was the outcome? Can it be cleared easily? Does it require a dealership visit?
