Hi,

anyone running an aftermarket shock on a 2012 1500 2WD?
I'm looking at the Bilstein 24-062107 which are on MaxTrac Suspensions website. I can't find much info on other places, seems like a hard part # to find. It is part of the 5100 Series.

Anyone running the Maxtrac shocks on their site?

Just use stock 2500 shocks from a local parts store you'll save a ton of money I'm running 2013 2500 2wd shocks on my leveled 2014 1500 2wd. They bolt up just the same and have more travel.

I have the maxtrac shocks with the 3" rear coil kit on mine. They ride good to me I see no reason to spend extra to upgrade. I planned on adding bilstein's but after a few weeks realized these rode great so no reason to change.

I want to appologize in advance for bringing this back from the dead. With that said I am new to the Ram world. Heck even to the truck world...my first one.

I did have a question around the shocks: I noticed there is a "24-062107" and a "24-062107M"...M in the back. Is there a difference between the two, or one and the same???

I want to order the MaxTrac LiftCoils with the Bilstein shocks, but everyone is out. I might be able to find the 24-062107 (without the M)...was wondering if that would work?
