Better nip this in the butt early as I know it will come up. As most of you are aware, buying online out of state frees you from taxes on the purchase.
Well...not with AMSOIL. I'm not an expert, but ASMOIL has what is called NEXUS. Because they have dealers in every state, they set the business up to collect tax on all purchases (excepte tax exempt businesses or individuals that have account set up with their tax id on file).
So, me and everyone else that orders has to pay their state tax....unless you are in one of the 4 states that does not have a tax.
