Anyone else get a notification about packages not available for their order?

I tried to order a 2022 Ram Rebel and I got this text from my sales rep the other day. "Hey just a heads up I was just notified the 26 gallon fuel tank and the comfort/convenience pkg are both unavailable currently would you like order with out or cancel order?"

I just ordered a 2022 laramie (was put in d status less then 24 hours from ordering) no restraints on any of the options i chose. i did the 33 gallon tank, pano roof 12 inch screen etc. 0 restrictions. I do know that the 26 gallon tank was restricted, so I sprung for the 33 instead. whats 500 bucks on a 65k+ Truck right?

Did you order it with dealer or off the webpage? When I ordered my Rebel 2021, it let me add things.
When I went to the dealer. It was nope can't add that if you want this, or that...

You will be so happy you upgraded from the 23 gallon tank. My current truck has the 33 gallon tank, while the truck I traded in only had the 23 gallon one. That extra 10 gallons makes a huge difference for me. My only problem now is some gas stations limit how much gas you can pump so you can't get the tank full at those places. Tried running my card again but it isn't accepted. Luckily not all the gas stations in my area limit how much you can pump.

You can build one online but you cannot order one online.

In my area, the cut off on the gas pumps is a Dollars thing
Some pumps shut off at $55, others shut off at $75

truck drivers don't pay at the pump, they walk inside & there is no cut off point

You will really appreciate the 33 gallon tank
mostly because they only hold 28 or 29 gallons

The 26 gallon only holds about 22 gallons

And I built my Truck online. Never went to a dealer until after I got VIN, and was told options weren't available anymore.

You implied it was possible to order online when you asked "Did you order it with dealer or off the webpage?" So while you didn't say that you definitely implied it.

Sorry, I didn't notice you were in Canada. I have no idea how it works up there. But down here you have to go through a dealership to place an order for a new Ram truck, at least that was true thru MY 2021. This is pure speculation, but I'm wondering if one of the reasons the US version of the Ram online configurator hasn't been updated for 2022 is because they are upgrading it to allow online ordering?

My mistake, wasn't trying to imply that.
I didn't even think it would be different per country.
If it wasn't for things I build on the webpage no longer existing, I wouldn't have to go to dealer at all.

It has been a while since i ordered my last Ram

I went to the website & ordered everything that i wanted, but instead of sending that order in, i saw a catalog & i chose some more stuff that was not mentioned online.

Then i went to the dealership & in a round about way, i told them that i wanted the salesman that has sold more Rams than anyone else.

They kept saying this salesman is the guy that you want, i asked a question about MDS or LSD or something.

I sent most of them away, they did not know the product
Finally one of the assistant managers spoke up, he sent me to a salesman that does not work the Showroom Sales, he actually works on the Fleet/Internet Sales Team.

I gave him the print out with the add ons
He went through everything & explained it in detail

He got me all but 2 things
because it was a diesel, i could not get the Sport Bumpers
The color that i wanted was not offered in that year Ram

That's how it should be. I'd much rather not have to go to a dealership to buy a new car or truck. Buy direct from the manufacturer and skip the middle men.
