I saw drain plugs in the bottom of the rambox. Am wondering if there's anything to be concerned about if I were to fill it with ice for a tailgate.

There’s no concern. I’ve seen people do that a bunch of times, it’s such a slick functionI saw drain plugs in the bottom of the rambox. Am wondering if there's anything to be concerned about if I were to fill it with ice for a tailgate.
“Accidently” left my phone at home that night so the wife couldn’t call ... That was a bad idea for several reasons that I’d rather not relive ...

Yeah were gonna need those reasons.
It was, and I've had ice in there for days when parking in the shade!Yes, I actually believe the ice cooler idea was part of the marketing material at one point. It's amazing how long the ice keeps in the rambox.
Indeed you can. Was doing this with the in-fender compartments in my 2002 Avalanche and the in-bed trunk in the 2006 Ridgeline way before the RAMBOX.
You remember the part in Animal House where they took the girl home after the party, left her in the grocery cart, rang the doorbell, and ran ? It was the same thing, except my buddies left me there in a wheelbarrow ... They had no intention of waiting till my wife answered the door ... She closed the door and left me there ... Lol ... Good times
