Anyone regret leveling their 1500? Why?

Thinking about leveling my daily driver truck with Bilsteins. Already have them actually. I know I like the look. Just curious if anyone regrets it and why. Thanks.

The factory rake is killing me. How bad of a mileage hit?

Don't regret it but... Had to buy step rails so my fat ass could get up into her. I mean, it feels way higher than the 2.5" level.

What kind of mpg’s are you guys showing on the dash?
Stock I was typically around 18 in the cluster.

Now I’m usually between 13.5-14. Bilsteins at 2.1” and Toyo R/T tires in 275/65/20. I had the tires without the level for about 2 months and that alone brought the average down to around 15.

Still don’t regret it.

I regretted mine after loading up a quad. Weight in the bed caused the stellar stock headlights to point up and had to use the fogs. Stiffer rear springs were a great purchase.

Wish I had NEVER done it.
If it weren't for 4X4 mode, I would never be able to plow through all the panties that get thrown on the road, in front of me, now.

I regret it.

Ever since I did it last weekend, I find myself looking at six inch lift kits every time I pull my phone out of my pocket or get on the computer.

Not a bit of regret. Actually wondered why it took so long to do it!!

I didn't notice much of an MPG drop. I ran the stock tires until I had an un-fixable flat. I maybe went from 18.5 (stock) to 17.5-18 (Bilsteins only). After changing tires to an A/T, I've dropped some more... down to about 17 mpg's. 'Course, that's on winter fuel, so it may come back up with summer blends.

EDIT** I have 3.92 gears. New A/T tires are stock size.

No regrets. The stance alone makes a huge visual difference. It looks like it belongs. Now my fiancee always points out trucks without it and goes "wow look how bad that rake is!". Its cute.

Sounds like the extra 2” of ground clearance will come in handy while plowing through panty piles. I’m going 2.1 on the bils. No need forUCA’s also?
