Showoff!!! Lol

Lol I got a little carried away

haha okay my understanding was that with the wider wheel you need a higher offset to stick out more?? if you had a 20x10 wheel with 0 offset and a 20x9 with 0 offset, would the 20x9 not stick out more??

but damn quietpeen i love your truck.

It is confusing lol....the wider the wheel the more offset you need to match the backspacing. If you had a 20x10 with zero offset and a 20x9 with zero offset the 20x10 would stick out half an inch further because the mounting flange would be exactly in the center of the wheel. Now a 20x10 wheel with -24mm offset gives you a 4.5" back spacing where a 20x9 wheel with -12mm offset gives a 4.5" back spacing also.

And thanks....my truck is OK. Lots of nicer trucks with lifts and bigger tires

haha yeah its more confusing then i thought :p i understand 20x9 wheels and such but when you change the width, all hell breaks lose

mm just big lift doesnt make it a beautiful truck man, im not a huge fan of a monster lift, its nice but impractical for a daily driver. your truck could be a show truck haha doesnt need monster tires and 12 inch lift to be really nice.

Got me bud. I was thinking kinda like you said but I would think the 20x10 would be out further with a 10 inch. Do you mean if a 20x9 had a 0 offset and a 20 x 10 had a -12 offset they would look about the same?

Give me a few and I will draw up a detail to try to explain why the 20x10 will be out further
