beat a dead horse? Rim help with offset issues

I have a 4x4 CC and Im going to install a 2.5" HBS level kit and a 1.25" BL like blkberetta did. However I want the Diesel Chrome wheel but the only thing Im seeing it offered in is -24 offset/4.5" Backspacing. Im going to get Ruff Riderz fender flares on the truck. Is -24 too much??? Ive been reading that the more the - offset the worse it is on your truck?

Can anyone chime in? Im mind ****** myself over and over again on this. Here they are

i think they would be too far negative. usually a 0 or -12 would be the way to go. that being said i think -24 is too much. what does the lift mfg say?

They are 20x9 wheels?? Today's not a crazy amount guys are running -44 lol its more then id recommend but itll still look really nice

I am assuming those aren't the EXACT wheels you are going to buy, but you just used that ebay post for an example because the bolt pattern on those is 5x5, and you would need the 5x5.5 bolt pattern. Just trying to help out, and they look sweet too.

Nice! So ill be good. My only worry is ill still be able to get these as I think what is left of them is all that's left. Mainly because KMC site doesn't list any sizes when you click on them.

I'm not sure. I was thinking he meant since the wheel is 10" wide the offset equals out some because its a wider wheel? Good point cause now I'm confused. Just woke up too lol

These are oem flares so there are aftermarket flares like pocket flares that give more coverage

Here is the look Im going for. Keep in mind this pic is one I found on the net. Its a 2500 which I have a 1500 and the rims here are 22" but the same wheel. Also it appears that in this picture, the rims are just "sitting" in front of the other rims. Man I wish a hood and grill conversion for a 1500 to 2500 was just that easy. It would be bad tail if a company made a 1500 hood that looked more like the 2500. just saying.

Sweet truck man!!! Yeah I guess Im gonna have to just go with the -24 because I've been racking my brain over rims for months now and I finally found one I like. Hey quietpeen, no rush but is there anyway you could send me some pics from the front and rear even with the truck about 10 feet away? If not no biggie, I get the idea, just wondering for reference. Truthfully I like when the wheels stick out some because It makes no sense to me why someone would spend $ on rims and tires and you really cant tell unless youre looking at the side of the truck. i want to turn the corner and people would be like "oh d@mn". That's how i roll. I cant stand when they looked "tucked" in I guess. To each his own tho.

haha okay my understanding was that with the wider wheel you need a higher offset to stick out more?? if you had a 20x10 wheel with 0 offset and a 20x9 with 0 offset, would the 20x9 not stick out more??
