bent chrome steel bumper

Hi all,
Had to replace my front bumper on 2012 3500 Ram after colliding with a dear.
Now what do I do with that old bent chrome steel bumper - take it to a junk yard?

Look in your yellow pages, there are some bumper recycling yards.
(They re stamp and re chrome some) or take it to a metal scrap yard. Maybe get $4 for it.

Scrap yards give you $ / lb. And it's low on steel.

Rather than to waste $10 fuel to get $5 for your bumper, put it on CL in the "free" section. Someone will come pick it up. I've done this with a few odd items.

Do what I do; toss it behind your shop until you have a truckload. Wait until scrap comes up and take it down
