Bestop Trekstep installed

So given my upper 50s age, it’s getting harder to climb up into the bed of my 2500 4x4. On prime day, Amazon had a 12% discount on this, so I bought one. It installs pretty easily and seems plenty solid, and works well.
My only concern, which is probably my OCD kicking in, is that when it is stowed, it seems to hang a bit crooked and doesn’t line up well with the lines of the bumper. There does not seem to be an adjustment for this. Has anyone else had this issue, and were you able to overcome it?

Only adjustment is on the step piece it self. I like mine where it is, and eventually you don’t notice it too much.

I never noticed that till you mentioned it lol Had to go check ! Yup mine is off a little bit on my 2015 1500.. Not much
