Broken tube

I just broke a Tube while trying to get to the heater core lines and I'm not sure what it is I think it has to do with the A/C. It's a thin plastic one with a green top on top of the black canister.

Hard to place it. Pics are helpful. Only thing like that I have is a breather hose.
