Was in Broken Bow. Ok, with a lot of rocked roads, thinking I got one.
Seems strange for the side window to do this but.. Have you had to replace it and what cost do you think I'm looking at? Goes from the top then slits left and down.
Thanks

I've never seen a side window crack, they usually shatter. Cost will probably be in the $250 - $350 range.
It’s laminated glass, not tempered. Lots of cars in the past 10 years now have laminated side glass. It is safer in accidents (less risk of glass to face and other debris entering the cabin); and reduces road noise

First quote was $514, but would drop to $414 if I do next week.
I think I'll shop around. He did say being laminated there was no danger of falling in my lap.
I may just watch it awhile..

Driving down the interstate last year and my driver's side rear window shattered into a million pieces, luckily the window tint held it together...scared the bajesus outta me, and I thought I had been shot haha
I had a local place replace it for a few hundred bucks.

Shop around. My dealer was 485 installed and the local glass shop was 100 cheaper, as long as the glass isn't shattered and needing to be cleaned out. Those are Canadian prices, yours should be cheaper.

I got a rock chip in the drivers door glass last Nov. Had it filled like a windshield chip. So far holding fine. No spider cracks. If it spiders I will have it replaced.

I would not leave the glass cracked like that. May not fall in your lap but iy may mess up rolling the window up and down.
