Looking for some pics of bug shields installed on 4th Gen Rams...I want to get one that extends over the headlights but I can't find any accurate pictures on different company websites. The only one I can find is AVS 25045 and 23045 Shield but not sure what the difference between the Bugflector and Bugflector II are?? So, show me some pics of yous and let me know what brand it is! Thanks!

EGR seems to have 2 different models as well...Weathertech does look nice!

Does the Weathertech use fasteners or 3M to install?

My Bugflector II is on my workbench so a picture would be uninspiring :)

Ended up getting an AVS Bugflector II...I wanted something to prevent chips but I gotta admit that it looks good!

I went with Weathertech. Great fit and I have never had a problem with any of their stuff.

I've got a chrome one on my truck. It doesn't go over the headlights but I prefer the way mine looks.

Some nice skeeter beater pics, guys!

I'm pretty happy with the AVS so far!

Did you guys have to take the rubber molding off from under the edge of the hood? I did as it looked like it would make the bug shield too tight against the top of the grille. The instructions did say to remove it, so I did!

Do these things actually work in lessening the bugs that hit the windshield?

didn't have to remove the molding with mine. fits good and doesn't rub on the grille.

I bought mine to protect against rock chips more so than anything else.

Mine looked pretty tight with the molding in place so I went ahead and took it off as per the instructions. I'm just not a fan of taking things off my truck that the factory wanted on!

I also wanted it mainly to protect against rock chips...

I'm not sure, I just put it on because I think it looks cool lol. This is the 3rd 4th gen ram I've had it on, I want to see how long it lasts! Haha
