Bug Shield

[Pull Ya]

Has anyone found a decent looking bug shield for the 13's yet. I'm looking for one that does not extend past the edges of the hood and that does not stick up 6' or 8 " tall and kinda conforms to the slope of the hood. Looking for either chrome or color matched, similar to what Dodge used to make. I know you can paint the clear one's but my painter gets $150 just to pick up his spray gun and that don't include the paint . Great painter, just proud of his skills.

I know what ya mean. I have an 11 and my bug shield was black. i just got done painting it to match. took 600 grit sand paper, adhesive promotor, white paint, and clear coat and done it in my back yard. I think i did a pretty good job. Saved some money by doing it myself. Think im going to do the vent visors as well. Good luck in your findings..

"Bug Shields" seem to do a VERY good job of keeping the bugs off nothing but the area they cover. I also find that they disrupt the airflow around the truck causing more buffeting. This is what I've noticed through the years of owning them.

Mopar has one for the 2013's which sounds exactly like what you are looking for. I have one on order for myself and it appears to be a very new product. It doesn't appear online anywhere and the parts guy had to inquire about it to get the part number.
