I got my Custom Tune from FRP when I did my cam swap. This is the best way to ensure you ain't ******* anything up at start-up.

Did 6 different revisions and Log files with FRP and dialed in the truck for WOT maxed out 91 Octane tune.

Now I just mess around with it and change parameters myself as I have a perfectly good file to re-install if I do **** something up in the tables.

Im working on a Winter tune with Higher Idle for those pesky -40 winter months with lower shift points.

In the Edmonton area i'm not sure who's the go to shop Ian. Ask on the 780 page or Edmonton and Area Street machines, you should get a few good reconmendations ,all i know is don't use CCMR in Edmonton, lol

Looks like My road trip is Saturday.

So should I keep my 5.7 heads or pick up the 6.4 heads he has. What do you think.

Depends on whether you want a high compression 6.4 that'll need 94 octane,or something you can buy fuel for anywhere, lol. The 5.7 heads will raise the compression to over 11:1 which means you'll need really good fuel,me i'd build it so i can drive it anywhere and still buy fuel for it.The SRT 6.4's are 10.9:1 and they require 91,going up past 11:1 is going to bump you up to 93 or 94 unless you pull alot of timing, and then you're defeating the benefits of the higher compression.Guys that are using the 5.7 heads ,are usually using E85,and there's only 1 station on the southside of Calgary that sells E85 in Western Canada, you can't buy E85 in Edmonton/Saskatchewan/Manitoba/BC and i'm not even sure if Ont or Que even have it.If we had corn fuel up here, then i'd say go for the 5.7 heads but we don't

Well , Cam swap update ! First problem !

Yesterday at 140km/h the ****** starting missing a bit, So today I started simple and pulled the plugs and found all the gaps were way over.

Lucky for me I had 16 good old champion coppers on hand. and just did some HP logging and everything is GTG.

BTW I did the plug change in 54 minutes. That includes putting it on the lift and pulling the wheel liners.

Should be good for another 2y :Big Laugh:
