I’ve been through these forums countless times now. Trying to research, but really need help trying to figure out where wiring needs to run.

Purchased 5th gen seats and console and have a 2022 1500 classic 4th gen. The new seats are powered, memory, heated and ventilated out of a 2021 limited. I sourced a female connector to match the 5th gen seats and have started working the pin outs over to the new connector from my plugs. I400 and I420 Are the ones on my factory harness. The limited connectors are the xy420 and xy410.

All that being said. My factory harness only has the wiring for the inverter to passenger seat, seat belt and occupant detection. I also have power and ground on both passenger and drivers side. I don’t have anything else.

What I need help on is, where do I run the wires to and from. I know the memory has something to do with the door modules and memory pedals, what wires go where. Does anything pin out to the bcm or do I need to go to the fuse box?

Or can anyone recommend a website for wiring diagrams and I can try to figure it out.

I’ve been using the Mopar connector repair website and see what the pin outs are on what plugs but, what plugs are what? And where are the wires coming and going?

Thank you in advance for reading this and taking the time of you do help. I appreciate it greatly!

The memory will require wiring to the drivers door, to control the memory mirrors. Wiring to the CANBus connector module. If you want memory pedals, that will require a new set of pedals, that have the position sensor.

Yes this is the thread I’ve been reading specifically. Thank you but the information in it is not what I’m needing. It has been helpful but it seems the op of that thread had a harness that may have been pre wired. I’m not sure. He states swapping the passenger hsm to the drivers side to mimic the 4th gen but I don’t have any of the wiring in my harness needed to hook anything up.

My question is, where are the wires coming from and going to. I need a wiring diagram. The correct one for the 2021 limited the seats came out of and the correct one for my 2022 classic. I can sift through the connector website and figure out what plugs are what/ but as far as all the wiring from pdc to bcm to switches to connectors to modules to can bus is where I’m getting lost.

On my 4th gen 1500, the power and ground was already available for the power seat, in the same connector that has the inverter wiring, the air bag wiring and the seat sensor wiring.

Thank you @Infotainment.com
I appreciate you dropping this. Long story short, all wiring should be done today. All I need left is the back seats. I found a thread by @emjohn4 & one other that @Wild one linked in this thread as well.

I appreciate the wiring diagrams and will save these for future use!
