Hey Guys,
Just bought a 2014 Ram Sport with the 5.7 Hemi, Dont know much about them yet but need some help on what is the better Cold Air In Take to put on it and does it actually make that much of a difference overall in gas milage and power,
i keep reading about people saying I'll have to retune or reset my computer or something once installed so hoping someone on here can help me out, it would be greatly apprecited to get some info about this from people who have done it to the 2014 Ram Sport.
Also where can i find some good mudflaps for my truck all i keep coming across is cheap ugly ones,
Thanks Again.....

Welcome to the forum!! And i will give you the heads up, this thread may get heated up. Lol!!
If you do want a cai, the recommendations are vararam and s&b. I went with s&b myself.
Mudflaps, well i hate them, but know I'll need them for winter, so I am looking towards Weathertech because they are 'no drill'.
Husky also makes some decent ones.
Ok, so lets see what kind of responces this thread gets :roflsquared:

I put Weathertech mudflaps on mine. I think they look as good as any mud flap can. No drill, easy to install and free shipping from their Canadian site.

Your gonna get a million different opinions on CAI's. Most seem to like S&B or the Vararam. I'm still running the stock intake so can't give much of an opinion other than the a Vararam looks cool to me.

Truck looks real good, clean. Please post up some closeup pics of the weathertechs, that currently what I've narrowed down my choice to. In reviews some people have only complaint that they wish they were a tad bigger, well thats exactly what I want - smaller mudflaps. I hate them, only reason I will get them is because I know I'll need them with our miserable winters.

Vararam intake that's what I'm running. If you plan to do mudding or get a lot of blowing snow than go with the s&b. I've read that guys up in canada say they get snow in the Vararam.

Thanks! Yeah, I wouldn't want to go any larger than stock tires with them. They just cover the outer edge. Here you go.

If your close to the border look into getting set up with a US box address. Most of the vendors on here ship free to cont US addresses. Then all you have to do is go pick it up and declare it to customs on your way back. Might get stuck with some duty charges but still way cheaper in most instances, especially on heavier parts that cost a mint to ship.

Crossing the boarder is the way to go, especially with vendors or shops that ship free across the US. Just have it shipped to an address or location across the boarder (even the UPS store. But there are many of these places along the boarder), pick it up, come back, and you just pay the tax on the value when you get to customs. Make sure you have you receipt!!! LOL!!!

Excellent!!! Thank you. Looks decent on the truck, like I'm going for on the 'don't really notice it too much' look. I am also considering larger tires (305 50 20) and know mudflaps are a must there as well.

Those mud flaps do look nice. I would like to paint white or chrome to match the white paint if the truck. Not sure if that would look better on a white truck vs black flaps
