Hello! I took my 2019 Ram 1500 Limited to the dealership for the check engine. They stated that the ESIM switch was stuck in the closed position. I brought it home and researched that it was a pretty easy fix. Tonight, I decided to swap it out and noticed that the wire connection was tucked away and not connected to the ESIM. I connected the wire to the ESIM and then re-connected my battery. As soon as I connected the battery.. my truck alarm started going off and I can’t get it to stop without starting the truck. I disconnected the battery bc I wanted to make sure that it is okay to start the truck since the module is connected to the fuel tank.
