We have a 2019 Classic 1500 with the crew cab.

When folding down the rear platform for carrying our pets, the mid seat cup holder turns into a problem for their paws. Anyone seen a tidy way to cover them?

I would assume you should be able to find something to fit those holes, But what about a piece of sheet plastic with two cut down cups glued to it or maybe some PVC pipe cut down ? ? Home depot should have a small piece of plastic ! Hopefully someone has done the mod, But please Update what you find that works. I'll look in my scrap pile of wood ,Good ? :)

would be really easy to make something. I am sure if someone had a way to mass produce this, would do very well.

I think I would get a couple of pvc pipe caps and set them in the holes. No need for glue or fab work. Then when the seats are up just put them under the seat.

Good ideas. I’ll measure and poke around Home Depot. Sounds like there isn’t a prefab solution. Kinda figured that might be he case.

Line the holes with Aluminum foil then expanding foam. Do a lil at a time. Then when filled, hacksaw blade to level it. Wait a couple of hours to trim to make sure the centers are dried.

Not a bad idea. I have a project where I'll end up with at least half a can of spray insulation foam left over and can try that.

Still looking for a way to block off the holes which are for the rear seat cup holders. Dogs don’t like them.

this person on Etsy has the right idea. Still not perfect:

also looking at ashtray cup holders. But want to get a cheap one. Or, someone suggested a round breath mint container. Might head to hardware store for something

Put a tennis ball in each one. Other option is to take a piece of high density foam and cut it to the exact shape and depth.

I have found several things that almost work. But I think I will end up getting my scroll saw out and cutting some oak to fit.

Just borrow a Hole saw kit. Way easier to cut a circle then a Jig saw/Scroll saw ! or Get a 2 plastic cups and cut them down to size and leave bottom side up

Just cut a square of plywood and put it on top of the cupholder under the floor. Some Velcro under the floor and on the plywood will help better keep it in place if needed.

2 foam style koozies filled with expanding foam; cut to fit from top of the koozie so the padded bottom is left intact; flip over so bottom is 'up'; put in holder - voila!!!

Ok found a solution that works. And quite frankly, the suggestion of the door mat really sparked my interest. Here is what I did. 2 tennis balls, blue foam campping mats, moving blanket (to be converted to canvas hammock style cover soon). FYI, I have two dogs. Needed back seat. Wife sat on 40 and dogs sat on 60. Was fine.
