Crankcase filter

On the road and Got a Perform Service check. Think it needs crankcase filter changed. Question...does this problem need fixing immediately and does this cause our gas mileage to decrease which is happening?

Fixing it sooner than later is recommended but you don't have to stop right now and fix it if you are in the middle of nowhere.

I've never run into a situation where this condition caused a reduction in MPG but that doesn't mean it won't. It's just my experience the one time I had the issue.

Are you towing something while on the road?
