Small change, but I like it. "The Stubby" antenna by Craven Speed. I believe there is a link on the right in the Vendors column. but just in case, here's the link:

The Stubby Antenna

Super easy. Channel locks or vice grips with a washcloth or rag to protect finish. you may want to use lock-tite, though, I did not.

I have it as well. It looks a lot better than the stock. No question about it

too small for a full sized truck, I have it on my Nitro up top but its hidden by the roof racks. But my opinion only matters to me, if your happy with it then screw what i think lol.

I bought an 8 inch black antenna on ebay and like the way it works and looks. I wasn't happy with the stubby reception or look.

Yeah, I read in some reviews that the radio reception on the AM dial is degraded but I use the XM radio and, occasionally, I just Bluetooth my playlist from my phone. I took that into account when I bought it. I figured at $20 and 2 minutes (or less) of invested time, it was worth the risk. Egress, I understand what you're saying.

Does anyone know the thread on the 09-15 rams? Looking for a shorter than stock but not sure what fits.

Im worried about reception even though right now I still use the free SIRUS sat radio. Once thats out I'm back to FM.

The other guys are right, it messes with reception. FM stations as long as they are purecast your fine but the range when traveling outside your local area it really begins to suck. I don’t do XM or Sirius anymore so I don’t know about all that.

I bought one, I like the look. However, I cant get many channels and the ones I do get go in and out depending on which way my car is facing. As of now I still listen to XM but, my wife doesn't care for the monthly subscription.

It amazes me they cant integrate a better antenna on the roof or in the windows like they do on newer vehicles these days.

Just got one as well, some stations are 100% clear while others are gone. Mostly plug my phone in anyway for music.
