I am so happy for dad!

Quick question..
If I wanted to get him a present... What are the first things he should have for his truck?

Mud Flaps, Light Bars, what? haha
He bow hunts and fishes a lot.

I am here because I am a nerd and nerds know where to find answers and what better place than a Truck forum to ask truck questions... Any truck nerds handy?

If you wanted new gizmos for that truck.. what would it be?
Can go 2g for goodies for him...

Thanks in advance for any input.

+1 on the Weathertechs. I put those and either Seat Saver or Saddleman seat covers in every truck I buy. Keeps the interior like new after heavy / dirty use.

I have the mopar all-weather floormats and have since the truck was new. Very happy with them.

Is the bed Line-x'd or similar? Gift certificate for a spray in bed-liner if not. That's more $, of course, but not dramatically so.

Bed cover if it doesn't have one. Especially if he's going to be putting expensive hunting equipment back there but won't be using a camper shell.

Bedrug is a good idea. If your dad is crawling in and out of the bed it’s easy on the knees and won’t stain from blood from any animals he gets. maybe some bed lights also if he’s out in the dark.

Good floor mats and seat covers are a must if he’s out hunting too.

I've compared Weathertech to Husky floor liners the Husky are more grippy and your foot doesn't slide around the Weathertechs and more of a plastic and your foot slides around, I've had Huskies on 3 trucks and love them also there molded splash guards and great. your Pop's will be happy, also check Tonneaucovered.com on here you'll get a great deal

Tailgate assist for sure ($25), for mats I think Husky are the best X act contour here https://www.huskyliners.com/X-act-Contour-Floor-Mats, a tri-fold soft cover is also really nice something like this https://ruggedliner.com/premium-soft-folding also running boards are nice is well I have these which I love https://steelcraftautomotive.com/running-boards-stx600-running-boards. You've come to the right place lots of great ideas here. I hope you and your dad have many great adventures together with it!
