Datalog run

Doing some datalogging for Sean and need more room to run it but heres a shot of it, lucky theres open country not far from the house.



Launching in 4high to help with traction but need to get used to the verter and play with which way works best. The cutout was closed to I could hear myself think lol. The A/F moves around alill at start while loading the truck to 17 then back to normal 15 ballpark and close to 12.2 most of the run.

Good Run! I sure miss having a MPH Speedo. 90 mph, I like those kinda roads, your sc holds the road good, reminds me of being back east in the rolling hills!

They just finished paving thr interstate again bout 10 miles from my house but is always busy, so riding out in the country is nicer. I sent out some info for a tweaked revision so its gonna get quicker.

Quicker, Was gonna mention that ...I mean...Tweak and Tune..J/K.. LOL...But hey it sounds great. I have plans to get a DSP later in the year after all is done (Perf Mods, then I'll try it with a custom tune to see if its better) cause runnin the 03 there are only 2 Tuners avail. Thinking I will also get the AF guage too (amongst other logging equipment).

So at 5800 RPM or so (auto Shift) is the Cam maxed out? or are you savin the 6K shift for after the tweak?? or is it not necessary. Just Wonderin.

The 6k shifts are for shift recovery during an actual race. I doubt im gonna be doing that anytime soon but I cant say for sure lol. I would deff get a A/F gauge soon.

Did you use a Digital Camera? If so I would recommend getting the Panavise 809 camera suction mount. Got mine from Amazon for around $26 shipped. It really helped in doing a stable view of the A/F and RPM to give to Sean. Just an option though.

Yeah I need to get a window mount. The WOT A/F is pretty nailed down but its the part throttle that is taking a few to learn, im on my second revision for that.

I agree. Closed loop really takes a few revisions but i remember when Sean was pumping out more revisions that i could load lol. How are you planning to work with that? PID logging or by your feel of what the trucks does during cruise rpms?

The only issues that are gonna be worked on is it goes to 17s from a dead stop but its only for a split second and some minor surging. WOT is great at 12.2 but the only other part is when I left off and coast coming out of WOT is hangs in the 10.2 10.4 mark. Im gonna run this new tune for 200 or so miles and see how the truck learns it. I know I need to give the PCM time to react to the tune to give Sean good info instead of driving it for a few mins and giving him false info.
