I traded it yesterday for 2014 Grand Cherokee Limited Eco Diesel.

Tow capacity 7400LBS 240HP @ 2000 rpm 3 Liter Eco Diesel, 730 mile range on 25 gallons

Lemons happen in any brand and/or model. I'm not brand loyal so as long as the truck has what I need/want then that's all I care about. I'd probably still buy a RAM even if mine went bad.

Thats a valid question, and believe me it was not my first choice.

I test drove Mb sprinter blue tech passenger van JUNK,MB GL350 Blue Tech sold before I got there to test drive,BMW X5DI sold before I could make offer. We currently own 2 VW TDI's, wifes 13 Jetta and in Germany Passat Wagon.

VW toureg TDI was my first choice, sold before I could make offer and no other within 700 miles that another dealer would release to my local dealer.. They only make so many per year to the USA.

I also drove and considered GMC Duramax Denali but wholly sticker shock 73K for a pickup albeit a damn nice truck,I refuse to buy Government Motors.

I spent the last 2 days at dealerships test driving to avoid going back to dodge family.

Also consider a Nissan NV for about 10 seconds, because local nissan dealers suck,I have owned a bunch of Datsun and Nissan's.

The dealer messed up my 09 Frontier after doing a recall for timing chain and guides and refused to fix it well with in warranty.
Their chant no codes no problems !!
Last I knew there are no sensors that can tell you if you have bent valves,bad rings or any other mechanical item. That lazy ass dealer ship would not even do a compression test
Truck started using excessive amounts of oil after the recall and never used a drop before recall.


Because of Nissan screw up I came back to Dodge group and bought my 2500. we owned 2 1999 intrepids with vibration problems when daimler was in the picture same crap traded 1 with less that 6k and the other less that 10k to get away from them.

Seems I attract Lemons or I just DO NOT put up with junk products because I know they do not have to be that way because of my back round as highly skilled machinist/tool maker and mechanical engineer !!

I am planning to use the Jeep as an intermediate solution unless it does fantastic .

ON EDIT: The only reason the Jeep is in my driveway is because of my local dealership service and support,they are good guys!!
