I just tried changing the sway bar links on my truck, I have lift spindle and I couldn't find the right links. I tried oem, and for a 4x4, neither fit. At this time I don't think the lift I have is the one the previous owner told me it was...... Soo I took both sway bar links off till I find the right size. Do I need them? Or will it make a major drive difference? Plz help lol and if anyone has a pic of a stock front end suspension it would be very helpful....

Need is a relative term here. You need them on-road because without them you'll experience a lot of body roll and push when cornering. Off-road they hinder suspension articulation, particularly when going over rough terrain.

Ok . I can't find the right ones though... The old ones don't have serial numbers on them. I looked online and from wat the lift spindle look like, they look like product of chassis tech...... Never heard of them, so now I need to find the right length links.....

I would think that links from any company that produces a lift kit equal to the height of the one you have would work.

I think links from a 4x4 of the same year are a bit longer and may be what you need. the part number I show is 05072935AC. If your local dealer has a pair in stock, take one of your old ones along for comparison. If the 4x4 links are longer, you may want to try them.

I don't think it is but I don't have a stock one to compare to at the moment.

I see what you're getting at now. I had too many irons in the fire earlier and didn't catch it the first time I looked. I think the stock 4x4 links may be the best route to try at this point.

Ok, I looked up the lift company that makes the drip bracket and its Rough country. I'll call them and see if they have them since they come in the kit. If not ill have to go with the 4x4 stock ones. Thanks for the help.

Update- rough country sent me the sway bar drip brackets instead of the links.... I called them back and for the inconvenience they are sending me the right part for free! And I asked the guy why my truck doesn't sit as high as it should, he said the previous owned must have put the stock coils back in. To correct this they're gonna sent me the right coils for the lift. Only $150 shipped.....
