Does a MDS delete require a tune on 2011 5.7 hemi?

I have a 2011 ram with a 5.7 hemi. I started having a misfire problem at high rpm’s and after pulling the valve covers off to look at my lifters i noticed there was almost no movement in cylinder 1. My cam needs to be replaced and so I have looked into upgrading it to a non mds cam from texas speed and performance. My problem is no one in my area is capable of tuning/deleting the MDS and I would have to drive somewhere else to get it tuned. Would I be ok to drive it somewhere after I put the new cam and delete kit in or do I need to find a performance or dyno shop that will do the engine work and the tuning?

Should be able to get an email tune for the cam that also disables mds
