So I want to mod the exterior of my truck in stages as cash becomes available. I would like to do the cheapest mods first but maintain a good look on the truck as cash is a little tighter at the moment. I could use some advice and suggestions from products to actually what would look good as I am having a really hard time deciding. Truck pic as it stands now at bottom.
Mods that I am considering to start with:
1. Leveling kit (lift later)
2. Fender flares (good place to buy paint matched already?)
3. Tonneau cover
4. Step rails
5. Larger tires (one of the last items with a small lift)
6. Airlift 1000 for towing
7. Muffler change for louder city pipes
Does anyone know a good place to get fender flares already paint matched?
Also, what other mods can you suggest that would look good on this truck and go well? Would you get chrome or black accents for the step bars, smoked headlights, or keep it all on the lighter side/chrome?
Thanks for any suggestions - I'm having a horrible time deciding. I'd love a list of mods and color options you would make. I want to use the retailers listed on this site as well but will definitely be pricing a local truck shop as well.
Thanks in advance.
