Fender Flare options

So I've narrowed down my fender flare selection to 3. EGR Pocket style, EGR Rugged style (looks like OEM 2500s just wider) or True Edge pocket style. I've never seen pics of the EGR rugged style color matched to a truck before. I didn't have much luck finding any on Google. I also want to run mudflaps with the flares. What's everyone's opinions and experience with these?

In my previous build of a racecar, no expenses were spared. Only top notch parts. This truck isn't a race car and I'm not making the $$$ I used to (by choice) while I would love to buy Bushwackers, I can't afford it. I also have several friends with body shops, I won't pay a penny for paint. The EGRs and TrueEdge are on sale right now for $325, that's $175 less than Bushwackers.

I think if you put the cheaper flares on and someone looked at them and said, "Oh, you put the cheap flares on instead of the $1000 flares", I would explain to him that FO does not mean flying object!!!!!!

I don't have any experience with either brand but I've seen them all around, color matched and not. I think it comes down to whether you prefer the look of the pocket style or the smooth flares. The one thing about the EGR's that I'm not a fan of is the way they notch out by the headlights and continue. Whereas the True Edge look more like the Bushwackers. But that's just me personally. Can't help ya with the mud flaps.

Bushwacker pocket flares. If you don't have wide tires don't do them. It won't look right.
