My mag light is an l.e.d. I've had it 5 years and changed the batteries only a few times. And I use the heck out of it. Lol. 
Plus I can use it to ward off axe murderers while I'm changing a flat. 
I have considered replacing it with one of those adjustable l.e.d. lights that can stand on end. That'd be easier than trying to hold a mag light while changing a flat.
