Planning to put a zone*4 inch*suspension lift on*my truck*and want to pair it with*Fox racing*shocks. Truck is my*daily driverwith occasional off roading..really just want the best ride on pavement that will hold up fine off road.*

What's the difference in ride quality between the fox 2.0 shock, the coil over shock and the reservoir shock..and what is your opinions on what would be*best suited*for me for what I want to accomplish?

First off, the fox 2.0 is a size class of shocks and coilovers. The 2.0 means the shock has a 2" diameter shock body. A 2.0 coilover means that the 2" shock body has the coil assembly around it.

Fox only makes coilovers for the front, which would replace the stock spring and shock assembly, unlike the bilsteins where you can just replace the shock and keep the stock spring. These are also adjustable up to 2 inches which can help level the truck. This will help increase wheel travel so the ride will be a bit smoother.

The resovoir shock has an extra resovoir which holds more shock oil to keep the shock from heating up in heavy use conditions. You probably won't need this since you don't plan on much prerunning.

So what this all boils down to is that if you want to do a full fox swap, you'd want to get the coilovers for up front, and in the rear get the regular 2" diameter shocks.

You should probably contact Fox directly though to see if the parts are compatible, especially for the rear shocks. I know BDS and Fox work closely together, so this could work.

thanks for the info! I'm not exactly mechanically inclined so every bit of info is useful...

So basically what I would want to do is get 2 of the coil over shocks for the front and 2 of the regular ones for the rear?
