I ordered ELine black zinc coated rotors and they sent 1 front silver one by accident and do not want it back.
Free if anyone is purchasing some, its the left front. part number: 633-40094L.
I have no need for it so figured I could help someone else out if they need it.

Might as well just keep it as a spare since the black zinc comes off in a week or two and looks just like the silver ones. Ask me how I know... lol

Ugh... really?! I almost went with powerstop but liked the black for rust issues around the hub area.

Can you please post a pic with them “broken in”?
I’d love to see what they look like after a while.

I will post after a few weeks. I think he was only talking about where the pad drags... which is by design...

Unfortunately it’s not just the area where the pad drags, the whole rotor is now gray/silver.. I’ve only had them on for like 4-5 months, so no winters.

Did you use brake clean on them or something? The silver zinc coating on powerstop rotors lasts well over 2 years...

Nope nothing. I think it’s honestly a bs coating they put on them.

I wonder if I should wash the zinc off with brake clean and paint the hubs ... this sux I only went with them so I don't have to look at rusted rotors anymore.

I would definitely. I thought about painting the rotors but I will probably just replace them after the winter. I believe the centric rotors I had years ago stayed black on the hubs.
