From forced induction to 5,7L Hemi

Hey guy's, new member from Ottawa, Canada, just picked up my first ram, it's a 2012 1500 sport, was the dealer's demo with only 8000kms and so got an amazing deal and so I had to jump on it. Previous vehicle was a 2011 Mazdaspeed 3, amazing car but def needed a truck in my life. At the moment I am just trying to learn everything there is to learn about this truck. First thing I will need are side steps, I was thinking Nerf bars, would you guys have any suggestions? I'm def looking for some black powdercoated ones. A more offroad look nerf bars are what I am leaning towards so recommendations are welcomed. Also I thought about a stuby antena but reading receptions def takes a huge hit, could I get some comments from people who live in the city, where reception is not really an issue. For parts to buy, what sites do you guy's generally use for good deals? I know we have quite a bunch of forum vendors but could you guy's point me in the right direction? That's about it for my questions at the moment, if you guy's feel like there is some important info I should read asap, please post the link. Oh and here are a couple pics.

My 2012 Ram 1500; Everything is stock at the moment, has a Mopar soft tonneau cover.

Welcome. I am from Luskville just north of Aylmer so not to far from you. I have shopped around alot and so far the best prices I have found was from Evolution tuning in gatineau. Welcome! Nice looking Sport.

You have a range of options on side steps, from concealed electric extending to 3" tubes.

I went with inexpensive chrome tubes and figure once they get a little too oxidized in a couple of years I'll paint them black or even apply bed liner to prevent rust.

For engine performance, I recommend Moe's performance, one of the preferred vendors, but there are a lot of RF members endorsing Bully's these days. Problem you may have is shipping costs from the lower 48 up to the Great White North

First thing I recommend is an oil catch can to keep the nasty yilch (technical term--not)form your PCV being reintroduced into your intake manifold. Long story, just use the search function on RF key word 'catch can' and you'll avoid having to rehash a bunch of questions already answered on the forum.

I have no interest is lifting or lowering so no advice there.

Other mods to consider are CAI, Ported Throttle Body, free flowing muffler, headers, tuner etc. Headers and tuner have some warranty worries (again, try the search function).
