2018 Ram 1500 humidity sensor relocation

I'm updating my Tradesman from manual to auto temp control. Found out that I'll be needing a humidity sensor to make the controller work. Where have people mounted the humidity sensor? Really don't want to dig through the A-pillar and headliner. And does it really matter where it is? I just don't want the A/c clutch engaged all the time.

I think it's primary function is keeping the windshield clear. Hence why it is mounted to the windshield.

If it's plugged in (to keep from throwing a comms loss code) but not in assigned location, the auto defogging will probably be non-functional as designed.

PS: Check your existing wiring. The wiring may already be there, but not used.

Yes, I think that i'll just put it there. I don't have the mount or wiring (Tradesman).
