First of all you know you clicked this 'cause yer still a perv at heart. Whatever. I'm not one to judge. What really happened is this: the not-quite-3yr old says "Daddy, what's that black crap?" as he points at the tail pipe during pre-flight the other morning. After re-explaining the internal combustion engine (again) he says "Make it stop doing that.". Ashamed to say it but the little ****** stumped me. Not that I let him know that. Don't want him getting a big head. He can't even remember how the damn engine works, for crying out loud. Anyway, what say you sagacious individuals on reduction of the, ahem, "black crap"? Thanks in advance, as always.

Thusly my suspicions are confirmed. The 5.7 never seemed to blow as much out even under somewhat similar load conditions. I've already informed the youth that the best way to make it go away is to wash Daddy's truck. The reply? "Nah, you can do that." Love that kid.

Lots of condensation with this 6.4 and the stock down pipe doesn't like to shine at all. Maybe a grinding wheel will help :)
