I've had some convos going on another forum but that forum seems to have dried up... not much activity.
I have a 2019 RAM 1500. It has 29k miles on it. I am lifted with a RC 6 inch lift (save the hate please).

I'm getting a clunk in the floorboard when coming to a stop. It also clunks when I accelerate a little heavier. It does not clunk on rough terrain at all.
Now the kicker....
If I slow down, and it clunks, but I dont fully stop, it won't clunk again. It's almost like it has to "unclunk".
If I accelerate a little heavier to the point it clunks, then I can get it to clunk upon slowing down.

I had it in to the dealership to check over everything. They said the LCA balljoint had play and the axle was making some rotation noise. I'm out of warranty and didn't want to pay almost 3k for those... so I went with mevotech ttx UCA, LCA, and replaced both sides axles with trakmotive. Also noticed the tie rod boot was torn, so I replaced that. I put in energy swaybar bushings and moog end links too.
I took in the TSB on the body mounts to have the dealership check them and they said they are fine, with the understanding that I would pay out of pocket, since warranty is up.

I'm dropping the truck off to a reputable indy shop Tuesday to investigate, but I like to give as much info/suggestions as possible. I did tell them about the TSB on the body mounts, but I'm not sure there is any way to actually test that.

Anyone have any other ideas what this clunk could be? Brake caliper? Driveshaft?

Rough Country has terrible geometry so it will certainly wear out ball joints and CV axles bushings and everything else you don’t want prematurely worn out.
Your first paragraph sounds like the drop brackets are loose or swaybar endlink installed improperly. I’ve had endless amounts of trucks coming in with strange sounds and unfortunately without hearing it forums are not going to net you an answer.
Download the instructions to the lift and go through every bolt torquing each one to what the instructions say. If RC doesn’t list them all download the Zone kits instructions. But going trough everything one gives you piece of mind and 2 there is a very high chance you find your clunk.
If that fails and everything is perfect some of the early trucks retained water in the body mounts causing odd clunks so that would be plan G after going through every bolt in the instructions

5thgenrams helped me out greatly. Its the body mounts tsb.

Thanks though….

Btw the RC lift has been great. Had multiple independent shops check it out and they all said the lift geometry is pretty close to factory with nothing binding up.
Both trucks now have the 6 inch.

That’s why the independent shops don’t specialize in Rams. Otherwise they would have fixed your problem at the first one you went to. RC suspension products are great until they’re not. I’m just being honest not trying to be malicious. The truth isn’t always what you want to hear but feelings don’t fix trucks so I genuinely apologize for hurting yours.

You think you’re that special to hurt my feelings? Nice try buddy.

Any product is great until it’s not…
But the RC lift has been amazing.
