2014 Ram, hemi, just under 100k miles. Truck has been flawless other than the water pump going out a couple of months ago. I replaced the water pump with no issues. I did spray the inside of the throttle body with parts cleaner avoiding the sensor and cleaned up the butterfly area.
Now, once in a while when coming to a stop the truck will just die. No hiccup, no fart, not even a shudder, I just press on the gas and realize it died. I can start it back up immediately with no problems.
After it did this a few times I thought perhaps I did not clean it well enough and a piece of grime was causing the butterfly to stick preventing the IAC from working properly. That is only a theory but I don't know what else to think.
Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem after cleaning or perhaps this is coincidence and there's another problem.
