Ok... so my tire saga continues. Have a different thread asking about Tire America asking whether it is a legitimate online retailer. Finally ordered from Tire Rack after using their search function and ordered the General Grabber HT60S yesterday. I wake up this am to an email from Tire Rack saying the tires are too short, improper load and (probably more relevant) out of stock. Are the General Grabbers HT60S proper for a 2016 Ram sport Crew Cab. I added all of this info in my search and it was one of their own suggestions now it's no good? Or are they blowing smoke up my @$$ because it's out of stock. This tire search is starting to **** me off Nd I expect a little better from Tire Rack, if that's what is going on here.

Well I have them on 2016 Ram 1500 crew cab 275/60/2o.
Mine are the XL load rating - which it doesn't appear as if tirerack carries any longer.
And they only have 2 of the standard load in stock.

Faith restored. I ordered 275/ 60/R20. Finally got through to Tire Rack. Somehow between the initial search function where I put them in my cart and my actually hit the purchase "button" the system... or I.... changed the model to 2500. That caused the issue with fitment. They indicated the tires will be in by Friday and I should get them Monday or Tuesday latest. All.. well.. most is well with the Universe again :)

I'm not expecting too much... the wranglers were good enough for me the first 3 winters. Generally I dont drive once the snow gets really bad and we haven't had bad winters in NY the last couple years. Although I was able to drive through 18 to 24 inches of snow in PA using 4 wheel drive, I try to avoid more because I dont trust other drivers and their overblown assessment of their and their vehicles ability to handle inclement weather.

If the grabbers are at least as good as the wranglers were their first 2 years I'll be happy. That will be 95% of my needs. The quiet "sounds" good tho. Lol. And I am a spirited driver when the conditions allow so dry traction is important to me as well.

I have them on my truck, bought from Walmart last November to replace the ****** factory Goodyear's. I only have maybe 5K on them but no complaints so far and miles above the GY's in the rain which was my main concern. We haven't had any snow in a couple years so I can't comment on that. I wanted Michelins but they are as expensive as HELL and believe it or not I got these on sale for less than $600 out the door with road hazard to boot. Of course since the Pandemic started prices of everything are through the roof as well as an inventory problem so I wouldn't expect to find many good deals.
