Good deal on Rotella

Shell is giving up to $80 rebates on Rotella. If you buy a case of 3 gallons of T6, you get $40. And you can submit 2 claims. I ordered some from Sam's today for $72 to my door, so net of $32 for 3 gallons. Already submitted the claim. I'll probably do another one too. Never going to find it this cheap again, I'd bet.

Not valid on Amazon.com or Walmart.com. But it's okay to buy it at your local Walmart.

Just be sure your receipt shows "proof of delivery" if you get the oil shipped to your home. Shell will reject your submission if you have no delivery proof and just an invoice.

Got six gallons T6 coming from Home Depot , bought online they had a great price , $70.38 for 3 gallons . $150.97 for 6 gallons after taxes . Worked out at $11.83 per gallon ,after the rebate of $80 for 6 gallons . Can't beat that . Allowed two purchases of 3 gallons . Delivery should be this Friday May 16th . I'll print the delivery invoice from Home Depot or UPS whichever I get it from ,and submit my rebate . I have copies of my invoice ,and notice of shipping that I will also submit long with the delivery notice . Hopefully got it covered for the rebate .

Having done the order that $40 rebate is for T6 3 gallons , I assume you ordered T6 not T4 which is only $10 for 3 gallons . Or $20 for 6 gallons .

Did you have submit two separate receipts to receive the total of a $80 rebate , for the 2 x 3 gallons of T6 ?

I messed up ,according to a phone call to them , the rebate it's good for two purchases ,but was told , they had to have their separate receipts ,which makes no sense . I summited the rebate form along with my online purchase receipt , the shipping notice ,and the delivery notice . All of them showing the total purchase of two cases three T6 for a total of 6 gallons . Which should be eligible for the $80 rebate , $40 for each 3 gallon purchase .

He told me I had to have a receipt for each 3 gallon purchase , I told him , now what sense would that make having to make two separate purchases online to be eligible for the $80 rebate , $40 for each purchase .

They also have a $15 rebate on a 1 gallon purchase of T6 , so according to him if you wanted to take advantage of getting a total of $30 rebate for two gallons , which you are eligible , two transactions . That there is probably the key words I'm thinking they fall back on " Two Transactions " . You would have to make two separate purchase of 1 gallon , and have two receipts , or in my case two separate purchase of 3 gallon cases to be eligible . It sounded like you actually have to submit to separate rebate forms also . Anyway I will see ,but according to the phone call all I will receive is the $40 rebate , although they will have a receipt for the two cases of three .

Thanks . Two separate purchase's ,and receipts just does not make sense . I almost think who I was talking to didn't know what he was talking about . I may call back them back , he did say it takes 72 hours to be in the system ,and I will let them check my rebate form , I have a confirmation #. It's not that big of deal , it's only $40 , but it's their offer , IMO they shouldn't make it that technical .

Looks like WalMart and Sam's Club have that discount too.

I just bought 6 gallons at Walmart and submitted. Walmart has the T6 for $23 a gallon right now. It was $26 but they have it on rollback to $23 so I stocked up.
